On August 11, the departure ceremony of the establishment of Teach How to Fish Plan Public Benefit Promotion Center, Waiting for Me Yuanmeng Fund of CCTV was successfully held in Beijing. This activity was co-organized by China Social Welfare Foundation (CSWF) and Teach How to Fish Plan Public Benefit Promotion Center and co-sponsored by Xinhuanet, Beijing Normal University, Zhongyu Education, Beijing Century Galaxy Group, Meinian Onehealth Industry (group). The famous host ZhaoZhongxiang and the singer Yu Junjian came to the site to support the activity.

At the departure ceremony of the establishment, Ms. Guo Meiling, Chairwoman of Century Galaxy Group and vice-president of Meinian Onehealth Industry Group, was elected as the first director general of Beijing Teach How to Fish Plan Public Benefit Promotion Center and vice-director of Yuanmeng Fund of CSWF.
At the beginning of starting a business, Chairwoman Guo Meiling knew enterprises are driving force of the society and she always adheres to the business philosophy “coming from the society and serving the society” and aspires to be a good enterprise with social responsibility.
Since 2002, Century Galaxy Group successively established “Qingzhou Century Galaxy Education Fund”, promoted and supported “Teach How to Fish Plan” initiated by Meinian Onehealth and assisted CCTV and Teach How to Fish Plan to set up “Yuanmeng Fund”. Moreover, our group successively donated basic education facilities to Shangri-La, Nanjian County, etc. of Yunnan Province. In addition, our group successively made donation to medical salvage service and earthquake stricken areas in Shandong, Yunnan, Sichuan, etc. to help disaster areas perfect medical treatment and health service or set up medical salvation funds. Century Galaxy Group does its best to perform its social responsibility with practical actions.
Under the direction of Ms. Guo Meiling, Century Galaxy Group and Meinian Onehealth Industry (Group) have participated in “Teach How to Fish Plan” charitable projects many times. In December of last year, “Teach How to Fish Plan – Making the World Full of Love” was held in Zhuozhou City. The artists and enterprises with love comforted the students from Yunnan disaster-affected areas. As co-organizers of the activity, Century Galaxy Group and Meinian Onehealth Industry (Group) sponsored the special performance on the whole journey. Moreover, they donated 200,000 RMB and health physical examination products to class teachers and teachers of “Teach How to Fish Plan”, which are beneficial to teachers’ health.
